Bitcoin for Art

I'm not really familiar with cryptocurrencies and such, just found out about it when someone randomly posted in Facebook on how he regretted not buying any bitcoin when its price was still low. With that, I began searching about it and learned a few things; on how it is the future in banking, payment and investment, on how its price has significantly rose since it began, now costing around $2,600 per BTC as of this writing. This has made me interested with its possibilities.

I'm not really adept with it yet and just beginning to learn the basics; like first having a wallet to store your bitcoins and something you can use to send and receive payments. For beginners like me, I think online wallets are the way to go as it's easy and convenient. Coinbase and Blockchain.info are among the popular ones. And when you have accumulated quite a few bitcoins which you intend to store for a while, offline wallet is the best method.

I was kind of thinking that this might also be used as payment for art commissions and such so I tried making an account that I can use to experiment and learn more. Here's my bitcoin address: 1EfdmLKqsqzoTeSExBNiWbWSd6dDD5bASv just in case :)

Still got to learn some more about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general and I hope that I'd also made you aware of this. This forum in reddit would be a nice place to start.
